Filming On the New Adaptation of ‘Pet Sematary’ Kicked Off Today
Dennis Widmyer and
Kevin Kolsch, the writing/directing duo behind
Starry Eyes, have been tasked with bringing Stephen King’s
Pet Sematary back to the screen, and the cast is looking pretty solid thus far.
Jason Clarke (
Winchester) and
Amy Seimetz (
Alien: Covenant) are our new Louis and Rachel Creed, with
John Lithgow as Jud Crandall.
Got a bit of an update on the project for ya today, as Widmyers notes
over on Twitter that filming has officially begun! At this time, we’re
less than one year away from release.
We expect more casting news very soon.
