Filming Starts Today for Pet Sematary Remake

Filming On the New Adaptation of ‘Pet Sematary’ Kicked Off Today

Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch, the writing/directing duo behind Starry Eyes, have been tasked with bringing Stephen King’s Pet Sematary back to the screen, and the cast is looking pretty solid thus far. Jason Clarke (Winchester) and Amy Seimetz (Alien: Covenant) are our new Louis and Rachel Creed, with John Lithgow as Jud Crandall.
Got a bit of an update on the project for ya today, as Widmyers notes over on Twitter that filming has officially begun! At this time, we’re less than one year away from release.

Halloween 2018 Producer Praises First Cut: We're Very Excited

Michael Myers is returning to the big screen later this year and Jason Blum has seen a cut of the new Halloween movie that will usher the famed slasher back into pop culture. 

Blum's company, Blumhouse Productions, has truly become the marquee name in modern horror and they're the ones responsible for bringing this upcoming Halloween reboot to life, which will be a direct sequel to the original, ignoring every sequel in the franchise. Blum recently revealed that he's seen an early cut of the movie and has shared his praise for it.

Jason Blum is currently making the rounds promoting Blumhouse's latest movie, Truth or Dare. During a recent interview, he was asked about the upcoming Halloween movie, which is directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express), who co-wrote the script with his frequent

collaborator, Danny McBride. 

Blum revealed a cut of the movie is complete and says that Green did everything he hoped with the material. Here's what he had to say.

"I feel really good about it, I saw a cut of it two nights ago. I think David did a terrific job. 

He did everything I hoped he would do which is respect the DNA of the franchise and bring something totally new to it and we're really very very excited for people to see it."

THE TENANT IN ROOM 7 IS VERY SMALL, VERY TWISTED, AND VERY MAD.
The feature debut of director Frank Henenlotter (Brain Damage, Frankenhooker), 1982's Basket Case is perhaps his most revered - a riotous and blood-spattered midnight movie experience, now immortalized in a lavish new 4K restoration by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

Duane Bradley is a pretty ordinary guy. His formerly conjoined twin Belial, on the other hand, is a deformed, fleshy lump whom he carries around in a wicker basket. Arriving in the Big Apple and taking up a room at the seedy Hotel Broslin, the pair set about hunting down and butchering the surgeons responsible for their separation. But tensions flare up when Duane starts spending time with a pretty blonde secretary, and Belial's homicidal tendencies reach bloody new extremes.

Filmed on a shoestring budget against the backdrop of 1980s New York (where the movie would become a staple of the infamous 42nd Street grindhouse circuit), Basket Case has clawed its way from its humble origins to become one of the most celebrated cult movies of all time.

After the experimental outings of There s Always Vanilla and Season of the Witch, Night of the Living Dead director George A. Romero returned to rather more distinct horror territory with his 1973 infection opus The Crazies.
When a plane carrying a secret biological weapon crash-lands in the vicinity of a small, rural town, the area descends into chaos. Winchester
